When we complained, we were told by another unhelpful front desk person, "Yeah, we just have too many people here right now." I'm not going to say it was terrible staying here, but I didn't pick this location and if I had my druthers we wouldn't come back. Coming back down was even worse - we were stranded on our floor for quite a long time while elevator after crammed elevator passed us by. Between the Burlesque Hall of Fame and the bowling convention that were both here at the same time, it took 20 minutes or more to get from the ground floor to our room. The second thing that bothered us was that the elevators are flat out insufficient for the number of rooms in this hotel. The employees were dismissive and generally unhelpful - we had issues calling down for things like extra pillows, for example, where what eventually arrived was not what we asked for (there's one exception to the bad CS that needs noting - the buffet staff were top-notch friendly - someone put them in charge of the front desk, it'll improve things here immensely). ![]() There's also a free shuttle from the hotel to the High Roller for when you want to walk the strip. The hotel is relatively clean and the casino floor is modern and easy to move around. ![]() This weekend was my first time ever staying at the Orleans, but not my first time in Vegas.
